"Mad Dog Math is a vital learning tool for my third grade class. Through daily, timed practice of multiplication and division facts, all students were able to pass the LBUSD math standards in multiplication and division at Advanced Proficiency Level (seventy problems in less than 5 min. with less than 2 errors), with only 2 students passing at the Proficient level. It is only necessary to be Proficient in Multiplication and Partially Proficient in division (15 min. less than 7 errors) in order to be promoted to 4th grade. So, no students in my class required any remediation in these math areas thanks to Mad Dog Math. In addition, all students looked forward to the daily tests and took pride in recording their individual progress. Parents also appreciated the daily feedback as students shared their progress on a regular basis, building positive home-school communication. Our principal also recognized students who exited the One Minute Club with a special math award. I think what sums it up best is Joaquin's comment, "It's my favorite part of the day." The students took pride in showing our guests our Mad Dog Math chart."

Sarah was the first in her class to make the 1 minute club in MDM on her 18's family! She worked very hard, and we are so proud of her. MDM has been a big hit in her class! THX for such a great system for kids to learn. Next year we’ll have to expand MDM and implement it in their new Christian school in LQ! It works!
