For the past year, I have used Mad Dog Math in my homeschool
program and my children love it. Because it’s broken down into small
parts it’s not so overwhelming for them to learn their facts. My
son really struggled in fourth grade math because he didn’t have
his facts memorized, but Mad Dog Math has taken that struggle away.
He is now more confident in math and that has given him confidence
in other subjects too. I’m glad that I found Mad Dog Math!

For Homeschooling: Because Mad Dog Math
is part of my children’s daily routine, neither of them struggle
with their math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication and
division).
Thanks to Mad Dog Math, Angelica (7th grade)
and Reagan (2nd grade) are performing beyond their math skill levels.
As an Educator: My 27 students had exceptional math skills
(multiplication and division facts) when they came to 4th grade
because they were exposed to Mad Dog Math in 3rd
grade. Fourth grade math was easy for most of them and SAT scores
in math were way above average.

I am using Mad Dog Math in my classroom
and the results have been astounding. Students who had difficulty
with 2+3 are now working on the 10's family! Your program progresses
gradually and successfully. I had a student who took the 0-4 subtraction
family drill 11 times before he passed it. Since then, something
has "clicked" and he has made continuous progress. I am very glad
I bought your program and I have already recommended it to the second
and third grade teachers at our school. Thank you for creating this
program.

I have used this excellent, easy-to-use math program with
fifth graders, and now with adult ESL students. Both thoroughly
enjoyed learning their facts this way. It's fun to have so many
smiles!

I am so glad that you now have an addition/subtraction program
for 1st grade. It will be PERFECT for my class. You can't find anything
like this in the stores.

Learning math facts has become one of the most exciting times
of the day in my second grade class because my students love
Mad Dog Math! These easily managed, time-friendly
drills work well with any curriculum and they motivate the students
to learn those facts! Thanks to Mad Dog Math, my
students' computation scores are improving.

Wow, Mad Dog Math is so amazing. It is the
best way to learn your multiplication tables. I think you could
love it so much. Mad Dog Math was a great help
to me. I think it would be a great help to you, too.

"Mad Dog Math is a vital learning tool for
my third grade class. Through daily, timed practice of multiplication
and division facts, all students were able to pass the LBUSD math
standards in multiplication and division at Advanced Proficiency
Level (seventy problems in less than 5 min. with less than 2 errors),
with only 2 students passing at the Proficient level. It is only
necessary to be Proficient in Multiplication and Partially Proficient
in division (15 min. less than 7 errors) in order to be promoted
to 4th grade. So, no students in my class required any remediation
in these math areas thanks to Mad Dog Math.
In addition, all students looked forward to the daily tests
and took pride in recording their individual progress. Parents also
appreciated the daily feedback as students shared their progress
on a regular basis, building positive home-school communication.
Our principal also recognized students who exited the One Minute
Club with a special math award.
I think what sums it up best is Joaquin's comment, "It's
my favorite part of the day." The students took pride in showing
our guests our Mad Dog Math chart."

Mad Dog Math is the most effective tool
I have ever used in teaching students multiplication and division
facts. As a teacher, I know that students cannot move on to higher
levels of math until they have mastered their multiplication and
division facts. With daily drills and nightly practice, the multiplication
and division facts are embedded into the students' long term memory
that will last a lifetime. Mad Dog Math motivates
students to step up to the challenge, and the best part is, the
students love it!

I just wanted to tell you the wonders it has worked for the
kids. They are so motivated and excited about Mad Dog Math.
They are practicing their facts ready to pass each drill. Even those
who have had difficulties in the beginning are excelling. Thank
you for a great program. Keep up the good work.

I started Mad Dog Math last week and the
kids are already in love with it. One boy was absent so didn't get
to take his drill. He cried. One of my learning challenged students
passed her 2x drill on the fourth try, and she was ecstatic. (So
was I!). I am sold on Mad Dog Math.
Some of my students in the past have not left my third grade
with a real solid foundation in multiplication and division. Drilling
at home or even in the class with flash cards was not working. MDM
is the perfect way to have students drill their facts. It's fun,
challenging, and they learn. I talked my school into using MDM for
addition and subtraction.
I would recommend MDM to all teachers, whether home, public,
or private. It helps all students of all abilities.

After many years of using another math facts timed test program,
I was excited to implement Mad Dog Math. The news
around my campus quickly spread and soon other teachers and grade
levels were interested too. My students love Mad Dog Math.
They get excited every time we get set up for it. They even begin
to chant Mad Dog, Mad Dog, Mad Dog! I love the degree of success.
The tests are set up in small increments and students frequently
experience ongoing success. I am excited to see their joy and excitement
about learning math facts and even being tested on them!

Sarah was the first in her class to make the 1 minute club
in MDM on her 18's family! She worked very hard, and we are so proud
of her. MDM has been a big hit in her class! THX for such a great
system for kids to learn. Next year we’ll have to expand MDM and
implement it in their new Christian school in LQ! It works!

My kids are learning their facts...even our upper elementary
into middle school teachers are implementing it so that they can
teach their kids their math facts who have slipped through the cracks.
Mad Dog Math is the best program for learning facts
I have ever used.

MDM's positive effects are numerous. It allows students to
work at their own pace. The bright students can move ahead as fast
as they can go, yet the slower students are still in the game and
feel a part of the action. It also provides accountability by requiring
each student to practice daily. It gives a true picture of each
student's mastery in multiplication and division. It provides the
students with quick retrieval skills of the facts when they are
doing daily work and during tests. Several students have commented
on how quickly they can get their daily math assignments done because
they know their facts. As the students move from the 2 Minute Club
to the 1 Minute Club to the 30 Second Club they feel a sense of
accomplishment and are motivated to keep practicing.
We can't imagine trying to help our students learn their
multiplication and division facts any other way! We think it would
be ideal for home-schoolers because the kids can manage the process
on their own. The practicing and grading are "kid friendly!"
We are talking with our second grade team about implementing
the addition and subtraction MDM.

My previous students are well prepared for the expectations
of their 4th grade math curriculum. The long division, and multi-digit
multiplication is so much easier because they have their facts down
confidently. My current students are not discouraged because they
know that they can take the same test the next day. Also, because
some of my students are highly motivated to go through the program
quickly, it motivates the others to follow suit.
I LOVE MAD DOG MATH! The program gets easier
as the students progress because they have less facts to memorize.
Also, those who move through quickly remain challenged because they
proceed to the One Minute Club! Taking the time to “train” the kids
to take the tests and correct them silently makes the daily test
giving, and correcting, painless. It also takes very little classroom
time!

I am so excited our school will be using MDM in 5 grades
this year. I had a fabulous year experimenting with MDM. I started
using it in January after going to the ACSI conference in November.
By June some of my students were half way through the 30 second
club and humming along. I love that it is so self-paced and kids
who struggle are encouraged by their peers to keep working and improve.
I really love how organized the program works. I have used the correcting
method in all areas of my school day so that kids always know that
happy dots mean correct and a circle means incorrect. I am excited
to see how my students this year respond to this program and I am
even more excited for our school to have students who have mastered
their math facts! Thank you for sharing your program.

Thanks to Mad Dog Math, my son, who is a
sixth grader at a public school, is in honors math! I believe with
all my heart that the equipping of good math skills he received
in third grade using Mad Dog Math has given him
the confidence and skills to achieve higher levels of learning.
Using this methods to acquire the basic math facts will give your
child a greater learning advantage.

I really just wanted to thank you for the Mad Dog Math program.
My daughter is a 3rd grader at Bethany School and has been in the
program for 3 years now. She is tremendously excited about math
as a result of your program. Azalie is constantly telling me "Daddy,
I'm in the 2 Minute Club"; "Daddy, I'm in the 1 Minute Club"; "Daddy,,
I was one of the first to make it into the One Minute Club"! The
excitement and joy that she exhibits each time she reaches a new
level is overwhelming for me as a parent. It has been said that
a student’s ability to comprehend math has a direct correlation
with their self esteem. I can attest to this. Thanks so much. You
are making a difference one student at a time. May God richly bless
you.

I am so happy with Mad Dog Math! Last year I didn’t get started
until January. This year my first graders started the third week
of school. At this point I no longer have to check each paper –
just spot check for errors. We can run through the entire process
in about ten or fifteen minutes and the children love it. I don’t
dare skip a day! Even my most challenged student has reached #8
and my top mathematician is at #30. I no longer have to remind them
to check for addition or subtraction signs and we haven’t even done
our unit on subtraction yet! I am happy, happy, happy. It is so
much easier for children to understand concepts when they know their
math facts.
